Overall mediocre-good, with the service on the flight operated by American Airlines being subpar and not the kind and standard you’d get from a Japan Airlines crew. The majority of the stewards on AA were not as gentle and friendly as those from Japan Airlines. Japan Airlines were more attentive to detail and your flight experience. AA was more interested in completing their tasks.

Very pleasant, look forward to flying with JAL again if the price is right.

I was feeling very comfortable throughout the flight. I got more leg room than I expected from a Y class seat. But the food was a little disappointing.

The food was not that good. I liked the miso, green tea, and ice cream. I wasn’t able to put my carry on bag under the seat in front of me. The flight was smooth. Please expand your choices of movies especially the new ones. I can’t choose any of those films. They’re old.

I like the braised beef., miso soup,, and green tea. Very little choices of hollywood movies. The PA announcement in English was not very clear and very soft. I could hardly hear.

More updated movies & Chinese movies. The food sometimes overcooked. Prefer to have more neat snacks in between than just choose from the menu. Please change the menu every now and then. This is my second time flying within one year and the menu didn’t change at all!

Food is lagging. Very poor choice. Like vending machine fast food.

Please change the menu more often. The beef is not tender, more choice in ice cream flavor. Dessert is not good too.

The Experience was fantastic, it's a quick flight so no entertainment or food. Just a refreshment

Again I paid for an upgrade on my credit card didn’t get it need a refund. . American I not good at gettin in contact for refunds.

Crew went over and above to be helpful. Plane had mechanical problems that caused us to depart late.

Atlanta boarding crew at gate were filled with arrogance and were disrespectful. In flight crew showed indifference to the needs of passengers. This is about the flight from ATL to BDL.

The flight was excellent, I recommend people to fly with Delta

On my way home I had a layover. The flight from ATL to CLT was amended 5x while I was waiting. I could have driven home sooner. Overall from Dallas, Tx to Charlotte, NC I started my trip at 4:30pm, I didn’t get home until past midnight. I know things happen, but 5x to make me run back and forth in an airport from different terminals is excessive.

Everything was great except for the seat. The backrest would not stay in the upright position.

Crew was great. Friendly, calm, interesting, happy to be there. That makes a huge difference. Plane was very quiet. Also quite empty so I had three seats to sleep across

There is no free Wi-Fi or screens in the seats for this flight. It would be nice if they had actual actual healthy drink options like a flavored sparkling water. The flight was very dark because nobody was sitting on the left side and they didn't open any of the windows. The plane was kind of and had small overhead bins. There was no distinguishable difference between economy and comfort Plus.

When we enter the airplane there were many water drops falling from the ceiling all the way long to the seat , and when it departs were even more over us getting the hair wet , and later on was too hot , the A/C not work well.

Very crowded flight… a little disorganized.. why don’t they boatd the back of the plane first??

The check in from Panama to Houston was good. From Houston to Toronto was definitely an experience. The Pilot from Houston to Toronto was exceptional. He probably saved our lives by noticing a dent in the fuselage. Everyone was taken off the plane and we boarded a new plane

Nothing beats ANA customer service on my opinion. Maybe because of their Japanese culture (and food). Arigatō

Leg room was lacking. Legs crammed into seat in front.

Flight was delayed by 3 hours. The pilot made up 1 hour during the flight, but that made the wait at the airport 5 hours once you factor getting there 2 hours early.

No snacks served! Seating in the kast row in uncomfortable.

There was a delay that was unexpected. The seats were uncomfortable for the length of the flight.

I was delighted that we were able to get on the 4:40 pm flight rather than our original booking at 6:55 pm!! Other than that, the flight was comfortable and landed early😊

The Palm Springs to Chicago O’Hare was on Time and Palm Springs airport is easier navigate. As our connection was only an approximately 50 minutes, we asked staff for insights for the Chicago airport in terms of transferring into the other terminal from which our flight left, and they were unhelpful. However, the United App was very helpful in terms of notifications and even providing directions. The Chicago to Detroit flight was significantly delayed which we all know does happen. However, there were very few updates or notifications as to why this was happening when we would actually arrive. It took nearly 30 minutes for bags to make it to baggage claim. We arrived nearly 1 hour late on a 40 minute flight.

By in large it was a good experience. The flight crew was great and that's the most important to me. Boarding was fine.

The control panel for the seat back screen did not work at all after takeoff.

Not sure why JAL partnered with American Airlines because their service is no where near similar. Flight attendants were not friendly and didn’t smile. Food was horrible…

Seats in coach aren't padded enough for a 6 hour flight

Let's give credit where due: this is JAL's flight, not American's. And nothing is going to make 12+ hours in the air truly enjoyable. That said, the cabin crew was solicitous and friendly, the Japanese food excellent. The business class seats on the 787 were a little claustrophobic in bed mode -- one felt like one was lying at the bottom of a canyon -- and seat and light controls are not conveniently placed -- but comfortable enough. Restrooms were spotless and well-stocked throughout the flight. The Business Class lounge at Narita is very comfortable and quiet -- my one caveat is that a broader selection of food, including some Western selections, would have been welcome.

Wheelchair was waiting for me,changed to a better seat which was great as it's hard for me to walk

My trip was delayed for more than 3 hours without any explanation. Also I have a business meeting that I lost.

JAL is one of the best airlines out there, hands down.

I fly to Japan for work a lot and this is the first time I've ever had a crew not hand out customs forms. I had to spend a ton of time filling out paperwork after landing. When I'm on JAL, they give you the paperwork 2 hours before landing. If I'm traveling for 18 hours the LEAST you can do is help me save some time. My American legs home are also awful. Fly Delta or JAL. American is terrible for international flights.

The entire airline industry seems to be a total disaster these days, and this flight was no different. They never posted the gate until boarding time, then bused us to the plane, a 777! We then sat on the plane for over two hours, with almost no information as to why. When they did give us information, it was an obvious lie, like saying we would be underway in 10 minutes, while being number 5 in line for deicing. I worked in the airline industry for 20 years, it takes longer than that for each plane, and a pilot would certainly know that. All in all, a 6 1/2 hour flight was 9 1/2 hours on the plane, just ridiculous! The entire time we were given little to no information as to why things weren't happening as they should. And to top it off, the pilot had the nerve to joke upon arrival into Boston that he was glad we had joined them for the short flight from London. Just what you want after 9 1/2 hours on a rock-hard seat, someone minimizing the agony you've been feeling for hours! Oh yeah, and the added time was just enough to allow the snow to start flying in Boston, which lead to multiple accidents, which made our 1 1/2-hour drive home, 3 hours, icing on the cake!

Squeeze like sardines. ANA has much better leg room. The food on air canada was disgusting. Worse that left over microwave dinner. Like you heated up microwave dinner then saved it overnight, then microwaved it again and added nasty garnish to try to elevate but instead made it as edible as cat food.

The experience was generally above average. The only downside was the absence of WiFi during my flight from Vancouver to San Francisco.

I liked that I paid for the bulkhead. That was the only saving grace those seats suck. Why do they pack you in so tight pack you so tight

Great experience on this Air Canada flight. Everyone was polite and respectful, even the passengers are very polite.

The boarding was done smoothly. This flight from Puerto Rico to Toronto, a light meal should be offered to the travelers.

Flight delayed at the last moment Hill next day and havé to drag at Hotel at our cost and bec day was again delayed 4 Times because no crée and no pilot
